This is a remote, field-based Fixed Term Contract (FTC) role with operational roots in Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, or London. This sub-team acts as the operational foundation for rider supply across the United Kingdom and Ireland, managing logistical scaling challenges to ensure the fleet meets real-time marketplace demand.</p> <p>Owing to the strategic scope of this seniority level, your responsibilities are split across two core operational pillars:</p> <p><strong>Strategy, Design &amp; Scaling</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Optimise hub performance:</strong> Evolve the format and structural workflow of our physical Rider Onboarding Hubs to maximise operational efficiency before, during, and after daily sessions.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Scale the footprint:</strong> Design, operationalise, and expand physical onboarding spaces across the UKI, implementing standardised systems to maintain high-quality service for all applicants.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Drive the strategic roadmap:</strong> Architect and execute the 12-month delivery plan for in-person onboarding, balancing expansion with strict time and cost efficiencies.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Cross-functional problem solving:</strong> Partner with Rider Support, Product, and broader Onboarding teams to troubleshoot live operational issues and funnel on-the-ground intelligence into long-term system enhancements.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Field Operations &amp; Fleet Enablement</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Deliver field onboarding:</strong> Travel extensively across the UKI to lead face-to-face onboarding sessions and support localized operations within regional hubs.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Manage local supply constraints:</strong> Target and eliminate rider deficits in hard-to-source zones, collaborating with the Supply team to build accurate demand forecasting models.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Execute seasonal campaigns:</strong> Lead tactical supply planning and execution for peak trading seasons to stay ahead of consumer and partner growth.</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>What You’ll Need to Thrive</strong></h3> <p><strong>Essential</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Sector experience:</strong> Proven operational experience within technology, start-ups, food delivery logistics, or direct experience working as a Deliveroo Rider.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Autonomy and resilience:</strong> A self-starter mindset with a demonstrated ability to work independently in the field, navigate changing operational priorities, and use your own initiative.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Stakeholder management:</strong> Strong empathetic listening and communication skills, with the capability to influence internal product teams and manage candidate groups.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Mobility and licensing:</strong> A valid UKI driving licence and access to your own vehicle for locations underserved by public transport, along with the flexibility to travel early and late.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Technical tools:</strong> Familiarity with G Suite, Slack, Looker, and Salesforce tooling.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Language skills:</strong> Professional proficiency in Portuguese or Arabic.</p> </li> </ul> <p><em>Note: This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) with the possibility of extension.
