  • Raise the bar: design efficient repair procedures to improve turnaround time and first-time-fix rates.
  • Coach the team: train and mentor junior techs; set standards and review workmanship.
  • Own the shop floor: open/close, manage parts & inventory, keep the lab organised, deliver great customer experience.
  • Champion customers: translate tech into plain English, set accurate expectations, and follow through.
  • Show our work: capture before/after wins and create authentic content for our socials.
  • Be flexible: cover other London branches when required.

  • 10+ years in computer repair with senior/lead responsibilities.
  • Strong diagnostics across Apple & PC hardware/software.
  • Board-level repair (micro-soldering/component-level) 2–3+ years.
  • Proven leadership: setting pace/standards, coaching, delegating, following up.
  • Excellent customer communication; calm under pressure.
  • Fluent English (spoken & written).
  • Able to travel between branches, located in Camden, Lewisham, Shoreditch and Wimbledon.

Nice to have

  • Degree (2:1+) in Computing or related, or equivalent experience.
  • A-Levels/GCSEs in relevant subjects.
  • Retail leadership, POS, stock systems; Apple ecosystem certifications; content creation.
Benefits

What you’ll get

  • Autonomy and real responsibility from day one.
  • Mentorship from senior pros (15+ years) and a clear development path.
  • Performance incentives linked to quality, throughput, and customer satisfaction.
  • Staff discounts and a supportive, craft-first culture.

The reality (and why it’s rewarding)

It’s busy: multiple tickets in flight, tough diagnostics, moving parts, and customers who need clarity fast. You’ll own results, set the tone for the team, and see your impact daily—in saved machines, happy people, and a store that runs like a machine.
