In this role, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and&nbsp;maintenance of reliable Fraud recommendation applications while collaborating with stakeholders to support<br>high-impact data use cases.<br><br>The ideal candidate is a strong technical contributor who enjoys working with building software and data&nbsp;applications at scale, solving practical problems, and continuously learning in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;If you’re excited by this challenge and want to work within a dynamic company, then we’d love to hear from&nbsp;you.<br><br><strong>THE GAME PLAN</strong><br>Everyone on our team has a part to play<br><br>Build &amp; Maintain Data Pipelines</p> <ul> <li>&nbsp;Design, build, and maintain scalable Python Flask API applications or similar programming languages to achieve low latency response.</li> <li>&nbsp;Understanding and experience in developing batch and stream data ingestion or developed applications leveraging SQL database like Postrgres DB or NoSQL/Redis DB.</li> <li>Implemented REST API endpoints on Kubernetes cluster using API Gateway like KONG.</li> <li>&nbsp;Ensure API response is reliable, accurate, and delivered in a timely manner.</li> <li>Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code and test cases using tools like Python, SQL, and Pyspark (optional).</li> <li>Understands containerization and Kubernetes deployment using ArgoCD.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><br>Collaborate Across Teams</p> <ul> <li>Partner with Senior Engineers in code reviews, design discussions, planning sessions and team&nbsp;ceremonies, asking questions and sharing ideas</li> <li>Work with data analysts, data scientists, and product managers to understand requirements andn&nbsp;deliver actionable data solutions</li> <li>Translate business questions into engineering tasks and contribute to technical planning.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an agile team.</li> </ul> <p>Quality &amp; Operations</p> <ul> <li>Monitor applications and troubleshoot issues in a timely, systematic manner</li> <li>Implement data quality checks and contribute to observability and testing practices</li> <li>Document data sources, transformations, and architecture decisions to support long-term maintainability</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>PLAYER CONTRACT</strong><br>We treat our team right<br><br>FanDuel is an equal opportunities employer, and we believe, as one of our principles states, “We are One&nbsp;Team!”.
